A partial denture is a plate with one or more false teeth, usually held in place with clasps. A partial denture may be made primarily of plastic or metal. Plastic partial dentures are less expensive, while the metal kind, made from a strong and mouth-friendly metal alloy, is much stronger.
Implant dentures are the strongest dentures you can get with also providing the most stability. They are held in by titanium screws that are implanted into the jaw bone. They can be permanent or removable depending on which option you choose.
Most dentures rest over the top of the gums. When they are first made, they should be a perfect fit. Over time, however, gum material can continue to shift. A denture reline adds material to the dentures so they continue to offer a comfortable and firm fit. Small adjustments may take only a few minutes to perform.
Complete dentures are an upper and lower prosthesis that replace natural teeth with artificial teeth. They are carefully designed and fit to meet the individual's mouth accordingly, supported by the structure of your gums. These dentures may be removable or can be supported with dental implants.
Many individuals fear that if they go through this surgery of having their teeth pulled, they will be toothless for a certain amount of time. New Bite has the skill and technology to provide immediate dentures to our patients prior to the teeth being extracted. This process requires a lot of aftercare even once the dentures are finished, to which we will help guide you along the way to ease the transition and keep you comfortable.
All-On-4 Dental Implants involve placing just four implants in the upper or lower jaw. This fixed denture solution is securely attached to the implants, effectively replacing natural teeth. The All-On-4 method ensures that your dentures are firmly anchored, offering unmatched stability, allowing you to enjoy foods without worrying about your dentures shifting or slipping.
